Empowering Queensland Women grants are one-off grants of up to $10,000 supporting community groups and organisations across Queensland to develop and deliver initiatives that align with the Queensland Government’s strategic priorities for women and girls.

Empowering Queensland Women will focus on addressing the unique issues faced by women and girls that prevent them from achieving economic security.

Funding

A total of $540,000 (excluding GST) in funding is available across two rounds per year.

Each individual grant is up to $10,000 (excluding GST), with a total funding pool of $270,000 per round.

Before you apply:

  2. Check that your organisation is eligible and that your proposal meets the selection criteria.
  3. Discuss your ideas with potential partners, stakeholders and colleagues, and gather any data and supporting material for your application.
  4. You can apply for the grant online through the SmartyGrants website.
