Jobs Academy is a free, online program designed to help Queensland women aged 40 and over build confidence, strengthen their skills, and navigate the job market with greater confidence.
Delivered by Future Women, Jobs Academy provides practical tools, learning opportunities and professional connections to support women who are returning to work, changing careers, re-entering the workforce after a break, or exploring further study and training.
The program is flexible, self-paced and designed to fit around work, family and other commitments.
About the program
Jobs Academy is a year-long virtual pre-employment program that helps participants:
- build confidence and career readiness
- develop job search and employability skills
- access learning and professional development resources
- connect with mentors, industry experts and peers
- explore pathways into employment, study or training
- strengthen professional networks and career opportunities.
The program is tailored to the unique experiences and challenges women may face when returning to work or making a career transition.
