Empowering Queensland Women grants are one-off grants of up to $10,000 supporting community groups and organisations across Queensland to develop and deliver initiatives that align with the Queensland Government’s strategic priorities for women and girls.

Empowering Queensland Women will focus on addressing the unique issues faced by women and girls that prevent them from achieving economic security.

Funding

A total of $540,000 (excluding GST) in funding is available across two rounds per year.

Each individual grant is up to $10,000 (excluding GST), with a total funding pool of $270,000 per round.

Key dates

2026 Round 2 is now closed.

Funding announcements for each round are typically made 3-4 months after applications close.

All applicants will be notified of the outcome with successful applicants published on our website.
