The African Women Dinner Dance events across Australia aims to engage African Australian women and provide resources / information about relevant services and thereby reducing accessibility barriers.
The African Women Dinner Dance primary target audience is for African women and their allies.
The idea is to honour and celebrate women of African descent, creating a safe space for them to connect with others and talk ‘women business’ whilst removing stigma, shame and discrimination as well as connecting women to services.
This year they're focusing their event to promoting thriving and healthy relationships of African Australian women in Queensland.
They will be joined by incredible speakers talking about healthy relationships, financial freedom, recognising abusive traits in relationships and wellbeing, women’s health etc.
There will also be lots of dancing of course, as well as an opportunity for individuals and organisations to show their support and celebrate with us.
