Multicultural Women's Summit

On 1 June 2005, almost 100 women of all age groups, from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, came together for the Multicultural Women's Summit.

The women identified issues affecting their lives, shared experiences, developed visions for the future, built networks, and discussed community leadership skills and strategies for engagement with government.

Recommendations from the Summit will inform future work of the Office for Women to ensure that multicultural women are able to participate fully in the Smart State.
