Australian Government - Fresh Ideas for Work and Family grants program
The Australian Government has introduced the Fresh Ideas for Work and Family grants program to support small businesses to implement family friendly work arrangements to suit the specific needs of the small business and help employees balance work and family life. The program provides grants from $5,000 to $15,000.
Global Fund for Women grants program
Grants are available in three categories: travel and events; general support; or organise a meeting support. First time grant awards range from $3,000 to $9,000. The Global Fund for Women advances women's rights world wide, promoting issues including leadership, health, education and economic security.
Indigenous Women's Fund
In its commitment to the empowerment of Indigenous women's human rights and Indigenous peoples collective human rights around the world, the International Indigenous Women's Forum (IIWF/FIMI) is pleased to open the first Indigenous Women's Fund. Proposed budgets should not exceed USD $5000.
Applications close 15 January 2010.
Malian Foundation Empowering Communities Program
The Empowering Communities Program is a free service open to charitable causes. The program focuses on providing management and open-source software tools in areas such as fundraising, volunteer management and donor data bases.
Multicultural Assistance Program
Multicultural Affairs Queensland's Multicultural Assistance Program offers funding for community events and projects that promote multiculturalism, positive community relations and community capacity, including improved access to services, under the following categories:
- major multicultural festivals
- cultural celebrations
- community relations and intervention/ capacity building projects
- small community projects.
Applications close Friday, 6 November 2009.
Regional Quick Response Grants
The Queensland Arts Council manages this grants program on behalf of the Australian Government. $1,500 is made available to assist groups and individuals undertake projects that demonstrate a community benefit and are not able to be funded from other sources. There is no closing date and outcomes are generally advised within 48 hours. Open between February and November.
