United Nations Commission on the Status of Women
The Australian Government Office for Women is now seeking applications from community sector and Indigenous representatives to attend the 54th Session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women in New York from 1-12 March 2010. Applications close Friday, 6 November 2009.

Survey on paid maternity leave, sex-based harassment initiatives and the gender pay gap launched
On Thursday 20 August, the Hon. Tanya Plibersek, Australian Government Minister for the Status of Women and the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency, launched the 2009 EOWA Survey on Paid Maternity Leave, Sex-based Harassment Initiatives and the Gender Pay Gap.
