Education poster
For students and teachers this 420 x 575 mm Education Views poster** presents aspects of the journey of women gaining the right to vote. It includes a timeline, snapshot profiles of selected suffragettes, ideas for classroom activities and useful website addresses for more information and resources.
The content was written by the Office for Women in consultation with Education Queensland, the Electoral Commission and the Department of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Policy. The poster was designed by Education Queensland and featured in their fortnightly publication Education Views, Vol 14, Number 7, April 15, 2005).
