Operated by St John Ambulance (Qld), the Transport Access Project (TAP) (Non-Queensland Government website) provides information to callers outlining services, subsidies, schemes, public, private and community transport options relevant to their needs.
TAP is a provider of both direct and indirect transport services. TAP provides transport for people who are disadvantaged by no (or limited) access to safe, affordable and assisted transport. Priority is given to the Home and Community Care (HACC) target population – primarily the frail aged, people with a disability and their carers.
For more information call the St John Ambulance (Qld) Transport Options and Access Information Line on (07) 3632 9932. The Information Line predominantly provides services for the Brisbane and Wide Bay areas, but also provides information to callers state-wide.
